What is iconXs? (Pronounced icon-ics)
IconXs (pronounced Icon-ics) is a VISUAL SEARCH ENGINE featuring LOCAL ONLINE ADVERTISING based on a company’s ICON (or LOGO). Similar to your computer’s “desktop”, we use business icons, logos and words to make your search fast and efficient. Small and large businesses alike may purchase their icon’s “spot “within their locality, thus returning in the form of an icon when searched by locality. The other search option is by SUBJECT, where icons are also displayed when searched by this method. The heart of the engine is the locality feature, displaying cities and areas where you choose to do business or recreate. Additional displays will include service groups, non – profit organizations, governmental sites, municipalities, sports, entertainment and education. It also includes a featured children’s network.
How Does iconXs Work?
On an IconXs search page, you will find icons (logos) and when clicking on one of them, you will be delivered to the company’s web page.
For example. If you click on the Google icon, you will go to Google.com or Google.ca
If you were to click the words under the icon, ie. Search, this will bring you to a page dedicated for many different search engines and sites.
